Style Of Playing
Attacking
- Build out of the back to keep possession of the ball, creating high percentage passes.
- Move off the ball to create space and passing lanes between the opponents.
- Play fast with firm passes, quick touches, and fast decision making
- Maximize goal scoring opportunities through quick passing sequences while trying to penetrate when possible.
- Attack, and get forward inside the 18-yard box to finish goal scoring opportunities.
Defending
- Apply high pressure to deny the opponent’s build up play, and making their passing predictable in pre-determined areas of the field
- Disrupt the opponent’s possession while preventing long ball and penetrating passes.
- Defend with numbers providing cover and defensive support
- Organize and communicate, staying compact to prevent passing lanes
- Prevent the final action by marking tight and denying opponent’s shots
